Case study | Charterhouse Street
Spheretech completed a major project for Central London based commercial solicitors, Abrahams Dresden LLP.
The Client asked us to overhaul and replace a climate control system in their office block.
The project on Charterhouse St in the Smithfields area of London, required an overhaul and replacement of a climate control, including the complete refurbishment of the existing old chillers and boilers in the listed building.
The scale of the project was particularly complex as Spheretech, working inside and outside office hours to minimise disruption in the office, called upon the services of a heavy crane installed on the roof of a neighbouring building to help remove and install heavy ventilation equipment.
The benefits to the Client are; not only do they now have a modern, state of the art climate control system but, they are already seeing a significant saving on their gas and electricity bills.
Spheretech Ltd specialise in installing air conditioning systems including VRF, VRV, splits, chillers, packaged units and close control systems into offices, warehouses, retailers, schools, surgeries and hospitals.
Marc Knibbs, Commercial Director, Spheretech Ltd adds,
“We were delighted when we first won this project for a number of reasons. However we were under no illusions that it was going to be a challenging task for our Mechanical Services Division.
Every job of this nature is different but, we know that completing each job on time and with the minimum of disruption to our Client’s employees and customers is of paramount importance.”
As with all Spheretech installations, we arrange an initial free, no obligation survey to assess the customer’s requirements and to provide a forum to answer any questions. Should you require any further information please call us or email [email protected].
