Case study | R32 – High Performance, Low Emissions
With a proven track record within the renewable energy sector, private investment company Low Carbon recently tasked Spheretech Air Conditioning to devise and install an effective cooling and heating solution for their Central London head office.
The brief, to deliver an energy efficient air conditioning system, demanded the application of the most up to date technologies, combining high energy performance and the lowest possible carbon footprint.
Due to an ever increasing range of new R32 operating systems now reaching the UK market, Spheretech were able to deliver the perfect solution for their Client.
In the last few years, manufacturers have focused greater efforts on designing air conditioning systems, using R32 refrigerant gases, which have a zero Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP) and a far lower Global Warming Potential (GWP) than other commonly used refrigerants.
With a higher energy performance than older equivalent air conditioning systems, manufacturers are also able to reduce the physical size of new R32 models, without compromising their output, energy efficiency or price. The final design and installation for Low Carbon, featured Daikin’s new wall mounted systems with an external condenser located on the roof of their Barclay St office.
Spheretech are adept at installing air conditioning systems in Central London, working around the Client’s office hours and transportation requirements to ensure minimal disruption.
The end result is one happy Client who enjoys all year round cost efficient cooling and heating, using a clean, modern and less intrusive R32 operating system.
