Individual or Multi split air conditioning units are wall mounted high up on one or more walls

For larger open spaces a Cassette system is fitted to the ceiling to distribute air in 4 directions

Concealed ducted air conditioners are discreetly positioned within ceilings, walls or floors

FAQs - Air Conditioning and Ventilation systems for luxury residential properties
Ducted systems tend to offer better performance with larger areas of cooling, and they come into their own with larger properties, particularly if they are open plan. Wall mounted systems are a cost-effective option for small rooms where and airflow is more contained.
It normally takes one full day to install one split air conditioning unit. So, we advise a day per split unit, whether it's one or five units that need to be installed.
Standard HVAC systems can be installed in 1 to 3 days, or up to several days, subject to the complexity of ventilation routing or building a new duct network for a retrofit project.
Larger VRF / VRV Systems can take 2-3 days per indoor unit, but every building is different.
HVAC is the integration of different systems to manage air quality and temperature in any building. Ventilation enhances the quality of air within a building, by removing stale air and moisture, and replacing it with fresh air from outside. This is complemented by controlled heating or cooling through air conditioning units. The combined effect achieves maximum comfort and wellbeing in every area of a building, all year round.
Installations may be subject to planning approval for a number of reasons. For example this may apply if large external condenser units are specified for air conditioning, or the property is situated in a conservation area, or if noise levels are likely to exceed acceptable limits.
Either way, Spheretech's highly qualified HVAC engineers will work with clients, architects and building contractors to ensure requirements are met for the relevant approvals by the local authority.
In most instances yes, but there are systems available that do not require external equipment.
To provide you with an accurate quotation, we provide a site visit and consultation at your premises. This takes around an hour and helps to determine your requirements as well as internal and external installation practicalities. The survey is free, with no obligation, and allows us to ask any questions in relation to your project.
