Spheretech Ltd provides low cost evaporative cooling solutions designed to help remove heat energy and reduce energy consumption.
Evaporative cooling has a wide range of applications. The systems we install are designed to help provide a cooler working environment and improve ventilation in areas that suffer from excessive heat. For instance, industrial manufacturing, food production and dairies, data centres and server rooms.
A ventilation system supported with evaporative cooling is safe, secure and viable alternative to refrigeration. In many instances they consume 10% of the energy that would be used for a comparable refrigeration-based cooling system.
Evaporative Cooling Operational Advantages
- Save 90% on traditional cooling electricity costs.
- Reduce your carbon footprint with up to 35kW of cooling from 1kW of electricity.
- Reduced Power Useage Efficiency (PUE).
- No FGas compliance costs.
- Low installation and maintenance costs.
- Ability to cope with hot days.
- Low Noise.
- Less emphasis on internal space needs.
- External access for maintenance.
- No water droplets, no water above 20 degrees, and no stagnant water.
How Does It Work?
Evaporative cooling is a completely natural way of producing refreshing cool air by means of the evaporation process. Warm fresh air is drawn from the atmosphere, through a water saturated filter by a centrifugal fan.
As the fresh air is continually drawn from outside, it is then filtered and washed, resulting in cooler air. This is circulated in the area required by means of axial fans which use the least amount of electricity possible, ramping up and down only as required.
