To call Dapper Chaps a gents barbers would be doing a disservice to what has fast become an institution for Northampton’s male population, looking for the finest grooming in the county.
Based in the heart of Northampton’s Cultural Quarter, Dapper Chaps can be found in one of the many historic Georgian townhouses along Derngate – an area offers a classic period backdrop but, the businesses in the area can lack some of the air cooling and heating conveniences commonly associated with more modern buildings.
Spheretech were asked to help Dapper Chaps, who required additional cooling for their main salon area, which was suffering from excessive heat building up during warmer months and something to help them heat their salon during colder periods.
The solution was to install an energy efficient air conditioning system, providing adequate cooling and heating depending upon season and working effectively in period properties that often have single glazed windows and limiting space and planning restrictions.
